ohn T. Sullivan, former mayor of Oswego, served as assistant attorney general in charge of the Watertown office from 2003 to 2007. He was a resident of Sackets Harbor for five years. He served as deputy Medicaid inspector general for New York state from 2007 to 2009, relocating to the Albany area. He retired from state service and taught government part-time at three colleges in the Midwest. A widower aNd father of four grown daughters, he lives in Saratoga Springs, NY and is now working part time as the Upstate Director of EffectiveNY.org, a good government advocacy group.
